A precision breakout Expert Advisor for gold. It maps the market range, plants pending orders at the exact breakout zones, and activates a five-layer protection system the moment the trade opens — all fully automated on MetaTrader 5.
What Does It Do?
Goldie Razor V2 is a pure breakout Expert Advisor. Before each session it scans the recent H1 candles and identifies the true range — the highest high and the lowest low the market has respected. It then places two pending orders: a Buy Stop above the range and a Sell Stop below it.
The moment gold makes its move and triggers one of the pending orders, the other is automatically cancelled. The EA then switches into full trade management mode — protecting the position through five independent layers of risk control until the trade closes at the best possible price.
Pending orders are kept dynamic: if the range shifts on a new candle, stale orders are deleted and replaced. Nothing is left to chance.
Range Detection & Breakout Entry
The EA reads the market before acting. It calculates the recent price range, then positions pending orders exactly where a breakout would be confirmed.
Map the Range
On every new H1 candle, the EA looks back over the configured number of bars and records the highest high and the lowest low — the true resistance and support zone.
Set Pending Orders
A Buy Stop is placed a few points above the range high. A Sell Stop is placed below the range low. Both come with pre-calculated stop loss and take profit levels.
Trigger & Manage
When price breaks through one level, the order fills and the other is cancelled. The five-layer protection system immediately takes over to guard the position.

From the moment the trade opens to the final close, five independent mechanisms work in sequence to protect and maximise every breakout.
Fast Profit Lock
The moment price breaks out and the trade shows even a small profit, the EA tightens the stop loss to within a few points of current price — locking in gains immediately before any potential reversal can hit.
Automatic Breakeven
Once the trade reaches a configurable profit threshold, the stop loss is moved to the entry price plus a small offset to cover broker fees. From this point, the trade can only win — your capital is fully protected.
Retrace Exit
After a meaningful profit is built, the EA tracks the price peak. If the market retraces by a set number of points from that peak, the trade is closed immediately — protecting profits before a reversal erases them.
Dynamic Trailing Stop
As the breakout extends, the trailing stop follows the price — step by step — locking in progressively higher profit levels. It only moves with the trade, never against it.
Dynamic TP Extension
When price approaches the initial take profit, instead of closing early, the EA can extend the TP up to 3 times — letting strong breakouts run further while the protection layers continue to guard the position.
Four Sessions, 24/5 Active
Goldie Razor V2 hunts breakouts across every major trading session. Each session can be toggled on or off independently — trade your preferred window.
Smart Filters
Not every breakout is worth trading. These filters prevent entries during dangerous market conditions so the EA only acts when conditions are right.
Spread Guard
If the broker spread exceeds the configured maximum at entry time, the pending order is not placed. Protects against high-spread periods during news events or low liquidity.
Session Filter
Orders are only placed within the configured trading sessions (Asia, London, New York, Late NY). Outside those windows, all pending orders are cancelled automatically.
Friday Auto-Close
To avoid weekend gap risk, the EA automatically closes all open trades and cancels pending orders on Friday at a configurable hour. Nothing is left open over the weekend.
Stale Order Cleanup
Pending orders are given an expiry time tied to the range timeframe. If the breakout doesn't happen within that window, the orders are automatically deleted — keeping your chart clean.
